For over 40 years, the Henderson Family YMCA has strengthened the very foundations of the community we serve. We’re proud of our diverse community and are passionate about being a positive force for good. We serve people from all walks of life in the Vance county area through YMCA memberships and programs.

The Henderson Family YMCA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit governed by a local board of volunteer directors.

We're committed to nurturing the potential of children through Youth Development, improving the nation’s health and well-being by promoting Healthy Living, and fostering a sense of Social Responsibility by providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

Our mission

Our Mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Our Mission compels us to embrace, reflect and celebrate the richness of diversity within each other and the many communities we serve. In that Christian principles are caring and inclusive, we are respectful of various expressions of faith and serve families and individuals from all traditions, backgrounds and perspectives. Together, we work to ensure that everyone, has the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity at our YMCA.
