At the Y, we have the facilities, equipment, programs, and staff to support you. Make new friends, increase your self-confidence, and improve your spiritual, mental and physical health. Engage your mind, spirit and body!

Wellness Center

The Wellness Center offers a variety of cardiovascular equipment including ellipticals, treadmills, recumbent bikes and more. In addition, we offer the Matrix Weight Conditioning System which provides a series of workout stations that allows a total body workout of every major muscle group. So feel free to schedule an appointment with one of our wellness staff to become familiar with our equipment.

  • Age Policy
    • All new members aged 15 years and older may receive three basic orientations to become familiar with our equipment.
    • Members aged 11-14 years must complete a Weights, Wellness & Fitness (WWF) orientation before accessing the Wellness Center. A doctors approved physical within the last 12 months is required.

Free Weight Room

The Free Weight room offers a variety of dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and resistance bands. Free weights are a form of strength training that offers resistance exercises provided by 'free' objects that aren't attached to anything and that you can pick up and move for a personalized total body workout of every major muscle group.

  • Age Policy
    • Members aged 15 years and older may access the Free Weight room.

Lockers can be used daily by members with a lock and key checked out at the Member Services desk, or a locker can be rented by the year. If the member chooses to rent a locker for the year the member should provide a lock for the rented locker. The member may select their personal locker to be used for the duration of the year. The member will be invoiced for the locker rental in January for the upcoming year. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Locks left on daily-use lockers will be removed and articles taken to the lost and found area.

Workout Etiquette

Here are some guiding principles to ensure everyone has a positive experience at the Y. These guidelines aren’t just for the newcomers, but also applicable and helpful reminders for the “regulars”. We hope these simple Gym Etiquette guidelines will increase the value of everyone’s time spent in the gym. Our staff and personal trainers look forward to supporting your wellness journey today and every day.

  • Respect
    • Treat others as you’d like to be treated.
  • Clean up after yourself.
    • Wipe down all equipment, weights, mats, etc. with the provided cleaning materials IMMEDIATELY BEFORE & AFTER USE.
    • Return weights to the rack when you are finished.  As a simple rule, if you are strong enough to lift the weight, you are strong enough to put it away when you are done.
    • Wash or sanitize your hands before AND after working out.
    • For the safety of others, please do not leave mats, bands or other exercise equipment on the floor.
  • Familiarize yourself with the rules.
    • Rules are posted on the walls to ensure the safety of all, so be sure to familiarize yourself with your gym’s expectations. If you have any questions or need clarification, don’t hesitate to ask a staff person.
  • Police yourself.
    • If another member’s actions are impacting your ability to enjoy your workout, please bring it to the attention of the facility staff.  Do not take matters into your own hands.
