We inspire girls to be healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
We would love to host a team at your school. As one of only three afterschool programs recently recognized as a top research-based social emotional learning program in Harvard University’s report Navigating SEL from the Inside Out, we want to make sure that your girls have an opportunity to participate in our transformative program. We would welcome the opportunity to set up an appointment to tell you more about the program and answer any questions you may have and will follow-up by phone next week to schedule a time for us to connect. In the meantime, please visit www.gotrnnc.org for more information or contact Becca Stanley, Council Director to learn more about how you can bring this transformative program to your school.
Girls on the Run of Northern NC is a Volunteer-Based organization. We need help with fundraising and other administrative duties throughout the year. If you have a specific area of interest, please complete a Volunteer Application and we will be glad to talk with you about your interests. All volunteers who have contact with girls must submit to a background check and volunteers interested in coaching must attend coach’s training. If you are interested in volunteering or getting more information, please email Becca Stanley
MANY THANKS TO THE PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR 2018 JINGLE BELL 5K RUN!
